Manned Spaceflight Capsule Size Comparisons
Another great Skabek (www.skrabek.com) infographic, this time showing the different sizes of manned spaceflight capsules.  It’s missing the Boeing CST-100, but we have asked him to add this, and we’ll re-publish once this is included.

The March/April edition of Aloft magazine, published by the Seattle Museum of Flight contained the great graphic on how private companies are filling the gaps in American Spaceflight capability.  I hope you agree that the future is very bright!

NOVA PBS “Earth from Space” - in case you missed it

See the Earth from a completely different perspective - from the satellites in space.  http://video.pbs.org/video/2334144059/

You can see the ISS from your house!

Did you know you can see the International Space Station from your house? Now NASA is providing an email update service to let you know exactly when.  Very cool!

Space is the new black.

(We always knew it was cool!)

Great article by Wilson da Silva, looking back at an awesome summer for space - capped off by Felix Baumgartner’s awesome jump!

Pilot Felix Baumgartner of Austria jumps out of the capsule during the final manned flight for Red Bull Stratos in Roswell, New Mexico in this October 14, 2012 handout photo. Baumgartner was attempting to break a 52-year-old record by skydiving from 23 miles (37 km). He also attempted to break the sound barrier while in freefall.

Great video to refresh your memory on how gravity works.
